Breakfast in hotel. Departure to city of Sremski Karlovci. Along the road we will pass through Fruska Gora hill and national park. Arrival in Sremski Karlovci and city tour which includes: Patriarchy Residence, Orthodox Cathedral, Karlovci Grammar School, Chapel of Peace, Town Hall, Theological School and Seminary. Free time for lunch. Visit Petrovaradin Fortress overlooking the Danube River and city of Novi Sad, the second largest city in Serbia. Free time in Novi Sad for individual activities and shopping. Transfer back to Belgrade.
Breakfast in hotel. Check-out and departure to east. Firstly we will visit Viminacium archaeological site which has been Roman city and legionary fort. Transfer further to Silver Lake resort, where we will have rest and free time for lunch. After lunch, depart further to Golubac Fortress and short visit. As we are passing through beautiful natural landscape, prepare your cameras to catch some nice pictures. Visit to Djerdap National Park, jeep and hiking tour up to the most trilling viewpoint named “Ploce“ . Arrive in hotel in Kladovo. Check-in and dinner in hotel`s restaurant.
Breakfast in hotel. We go to the nearby village where we will embark the boat and have a cruise along the Danube River, actually passing through the most amazing part of it – Iron Gate – the deepest river gorge in Europe! Iron Gate is the name for about 100km long stream of Danube river through Carpathians which flows through one of the most spectacular landscapes. The river flows through two canyons and three gorges, in which the narrowest point is only 150m wide, with 200m to 500m high cliffs towering above the river`s surface. We will be able to see Tabula Triana, monument of Decibel, Mrakonja Monastery etc. Music and drinks on the boat will be served. Our finishing port is in city of Donji Milanovac where we will have free time for lunch. Visiting Kapetan Misin Breg ethno village with nice view to the around area where guests can taste some of the domestic juices etc. Return to Kladovo and dinner in hotel.
Breakfast in hotel. Today we go exploring the end east of the country. Arrival in Vratna village and tour in the pure nature visiting 3 highest stone bridges in Europe which are standing above the same name river – Vratna. These three natural phenomena of eastern Serbia are not only the highest stone arches in Europe, but also a rather unique occurrence in the world. Apart from Serbia, only Slovenia, France and Colorado (US) have such stone structures. Little Prerast is 34 metres high, 30 metres long, and 15 metres wide. The Big Prerast is actually less tall. Along with the Little Prerast it’s called the monastery gate. The Dry Prerast is 20 metres in height, the youngest and the least accessible, but at the same time the most beautiful one and the one most challenging for researchers. After visit, transfer further to visit Rajacke Pimnice, unique stone town, which was constructed by wine-growers of this region in 18th century who build their pimnica breweries in order to preserve wine. Lunch and wine degustation. Retun to hotel in Kladovo and dinner.
Breakfast in hotel and check-out. We are heading our road back to the capital. Meanwhile, we will visit city of Smederevo which have been medieval capital of Serbia. After that, visit one of the nicest wine cellars followed by wine tasting and lunch (combining food and wine). Return to Belgrade, check-in in hotel and free evening
