Rafting & Hiking Tara Canyon

Breakfast in hotel. Leisure and funny day in Belgrade – firstly we will stroll down the Belgrade riverside, as Belgrade is lying on two big rivers, Sava and Danube, passing by the Belgrade port. Than we will visit the oldest inn (“kafana“) for a cup of home-made coffee. Lunch will be served for us in Skadarlija – old bohemian quarter of Belgrade. After lunch, when our stomach is kind of full, we will go on rakija tour! Rakija is Serbian national brandy, made of different kinds of fruits and herbs. Free time.

Check-out and departure to the west-south part of the country. Near city of Priboj we are crossing the border to enter Bosnia and Herzegovina, where our camp is. Accommodation in bungalows. Free time for relaxation, socialising or some sport activities like football or volleyball. Dinner made of organic ingredients, made right there in front of you.

Breakfast until 10 a.m. (domestic ham, hot small breads with cream cheese…). All participants will be given rafting equipment which includes high quality safety vests, neoprene suits, neoprene shoes and anoraks. Transfer by off-road vehicles to the start point of our rafting tour. Within couple of hours we will pass some the most attractive parts of Tara River with a lot of waterfalls and wild sources. A couple of short breaks for photo shooting will be made. After 25 km of wild rafting experience we are heading to our camp for lunch. Home-made, of course (hot veal soup, lamb meat, goat meat, veal under the fire, vegetables, salads, domestic pies etc). Free time for relaxing, strolling, swimming or recreation. For dinner trout will be served with potatoes, cream cheese, herb pie and many others. Open-air party!

Breakfast until 09 a.m. Departure by off-road vehicles to the Sutjeska National Park. 1 to 2 hours of off-road drive through national park. Tour of prime forest, the only one in Europe, with magnificent panorama to Skakavac waterfall, which is 81 meters high. Drive through mountain crease Prijevor from which there is astonishing view to the highest peak of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Maglic. We will pass mountain “katun“, with visit of various overlooks and observation tower. Continue climbing from Prijevor to a fantastic glacier lakes, under MaglicMountain. Snack break on TrnovackoLake. Count on about 4 hours hiking-trekking in both directions. Board the vehicles and return back to the camp. Dinner.

Be prepared for beautiful wake up in the pure nature, surrounded by mountains, forests and river. Coffee by the riverside. After breakfast we are taking our road back to Belgrade. Free evening.
