If you ask a Serbs what is the best thing their country has to offer, for sure they will answer: food and hospitality. We are introducing you the tastes of west, east and central Serbia with best wines of the region.

-Arrival at Belgrade`s airport. Welcome by a local host and transfer to the hotel. Check-in and short refreshment.

-Departure to the northern part of the county. Our first stop is Fruska Gora hill, on which fertile slopes grapes have been cultivated for more than 1700 years. Wines from this region were exported to Bohemia and Poland as early as 15th century. Bermet, the region`s authentic wine, was on the wine list of Titanik, according to some documents.

-We will taste wines in two or three wine cellars on Fruska Gora and nearby city of Sremski Karlovci. Sremski Karlovci city tour.

-We will also taste some of the most famous food specialties of this region, called Srem. You will be surprised how yummy they are. We will serve it for you at unusual places (lunch included)

-Dinner on your own.

-Overnight in Novi Sad.

-Breakfast in hotel.

-Departure to the most northern part of Serbia – Subotica city and Palic Lake. The entire Palic region lies on sandy terrain left by the prehistoric Pannonian Sea. That`s why wines from this area are commonly referred to as sandy wines. The varieties are predominantly grown in new vineyards include Italian Riesling, Rhine Riesling and Chardonnay.

-Tasting several wines from this region in wine cellars.

-Lunch in traditional farmhouse, with traditional cuisine.

-During Subotica city tour, You will be charmed by many Seccesion buildings.

-We will taste gastronomy specialties from this region, and some of the most famous are “perklet“, “gomboce“ and “strudla“.

-Dinner on your own.

-This day we departure to the east border of Vojvodina region. On the road, we will pay a visit to Fantast Castle and Carska Bara nature reserve.

-Arrive in city of Vrsac. The profound importance of winemaking for Vrsac is probably best illustrated by the grapevine found on the municipal coat-of-arms and representations of grapes decorating the facades of its old buildings. White grape varieties dominate in the Vrsac vineyards. The “Vrsacki vinogradi“ company is leading winemaker in the region, with over than 1700 hectares of vineyards.

-Free time for lunch.

-Vrsac city tour.

-Dinner in restaurant-wine cellar with live music. We will, of course, drink wine and eat specialties of this region.

-Overnight in Vrsac.

-Breakfast at hotel.

-Visit “Vrsacki vinogradi“ vinery. Climb up the Vrsac hill with panorama overlooking the surrounding Banat region.

-Tasting some more autochthonous delicacy for lunch.

-Departure to city of Smederevo, also one of the representative wine regions in Serbia. Serbian despots Stefan Lazarevic and Djuradj Brankovic both have vineyards in the Smederevo area. Traditionally Smederevo vintners packed their premium white wine, called Smederevka, first into crates and then into cases before exporting them to West European markets.

-Stroll along remarkable Smederevo Fortress.

-Free time in the city for lunch.

-Visit to wine cellar tasting several kinds of wines along with tasteful snacks.

-Transfer to Belgrade and farewell dinner in restaurant.
