Arrival in Belgrade. Meeting with the local guide and city tour. After city tour check-in in hotel. Free time. Dinner in restaurant in Skadarlija – Belgrade`s bohemian quarter (live tambourine music).
Belgrade city tour includes: panoramic part from the bus – Republic and City Assembly, Slavija Square, St. Sava Temple, White Palace, Museum 25th May (Tito`s mausoleum), Kneza Milosa street, Republic Square; walking part by foot – National Theatre, Knez Mihailova pedestrian zone, St. Michael`s Orthodox Cathedral and Kalemegdan Fortress.
Dinner in Skadarlija- Belgrade`s bohemian quarter.
Breakfast in hotel. Meeting at hotel`s lobby and departure to excursion. After excursion, return to Belgrade. Dinner on floating-boat restaurant on Danube River.
Excursion Option 1 – Excursion to Topola & Oplenac with wine degustation in a winery
After cca 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Belgrade, we arrive at Oplenac hill, where endowment of King Peter is situated. Visit to St. George Church with beautiful frescoe mosaics. Church is also the mausoleum of royal Karadjordjevic family. Visit King Peter`s museum and Karadjodje`s residence. Free time in Topola for lunch. Transfer to the nearby winery and wine degustation. After this great day we can return directly to Belgrade or have dinner in ethno village situated 30 minutes drive from Topola and after dinner return late to Belgrade.
Excursion Option 2 – Excursion to Novi Sad & Sremski Karlovci with monastery visit
After cca 1 hour drive from Belgrade we are entering Fruska Gora National Park situated at the northern part of Serbia. Drive cca 15 minute more through the park, and we will arrive at Krusedol monastery. Krusedol Monastery was declared a Monument of Culture of Exceptional Importance in 1990 and it is protected by the Serbian state. Drive further to town of Sremski Karlovci for a sightseeing. Sremski Karlovci city tour includes: Patriarchy Residence, Orthodox Cathedral, Karlovci Grammar School, Chapel of Peace, Town Hall, Theological School and Seminary. Transfer to nearby Novi Sad which is the second largest city in Serbia. Free time for lunch. After lunch and refreshment, city tour with our guide, with inclusion of Petrovaradin Fortress. Return back to Belgrade.
Option 3 – Sightseeing of Zemun – northern Belgrade`s district with Gardos Tower and nice Austro-Hungarian architecture. Zemun city tour includes: Gardos Tower, Nikolajeva Church, Karamata house, Spirta`s house, Franciscan Monastery, central city square.
Boat tour – sightseeing of Belgrade from the boat. Free time on riverside for stroll, coffee, individual sightseeing.
Breakfast in hotel. End of program.
